Cicada wins Finance Yorkshire brief
Harrogate-based Cicada Communications has been appointed by Finance Yorkshire to manage its PR and communications activity.
Cicada’s role includes further increasing awareness of the benefits that Finance Yorkshire brings to businesses in need of gap finance and, consequently, to the economic growth of the region.
Di Burton, Cicada’s managing director, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Finance Yorkshire, especially in highlighting the investment it continues to make in businesses right across Yorkshire and the Humber region.”
Finance Yorkshire provides Seedcorn, Business Loan and Equity Linked investments, ranging from £15,000 to £2m, specifically to help small and medium-sized businesses meet the gaps in the market for the funding they need for growth and development.
Alex McWhirter, chief executive of Finance Yorkshire, said: “We are pleased to have appointed Cicada to manage our PR contract – the agency has a solid track record in PR and communications and we look forward to working with the Cicada team over the coming months.”
Finance Yorkshire joins Cicada’s portfolio of both B2B and B2C clients who include Langleys Solicitors, Carter Jonas, Navigate Academies Trust, Riverford Organic Farms and Goldsborough Hall.
