Leading West Yorkshire IT experts cement commitment to the region
A top Leeds business, named in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies for the last four years, has reinforced its commitment to the region as it starts work on its new headquarters.
The Phoenix Partnership (TPP), a leading healthcare IT business, is investing millions of pounds its new HQ in Horsforth, which will accommodate over 600 staff within 85,000 sq feet.
The company currently employs 200 people with plans to create more new jobs due to rapid expansion into new markets, including hospitals and social care and also new international opportunities.
Established in Horsforth more than 16 years ago, TPP launched with 50 staff and is now actively recruiting for more across all its teams.
The new office promises to bring talented graduates from the best universities in the UK into the region providing rewarding, long term careers. For the last four years, TPP has been placed in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies, coming second in the 2013 awards.
Councillor Dawn Collins, who represents the Horsforth Ward, said: “I think it is excellent news that The Phoenix Partnership has found a way that they can expand and still stay in Horsforth. Their philosophy to promote the idea that their employees should live as local to the business as they can is one that should be commended and will ensure that the jobs they provide benefit local people as well as the local economy.”
ISG has been appointed as main contractors for the project with Bowman Riley assigned as architects. The building has been designed to complement the local environment and is due for completion in spring 2015.
