Leeds businesses invited to take part in charity quiz

Local businesses are invited to submit teams who enjoy the challenge of a charity quiz to take part in an event on Thursday, 17 October at Toast Bar & Bistro in Leeds.

The popular annual quiz, which runs from 6pm-9.30pm, is organised by hlw Keeble Hawson – one of the region’s biggest law practices with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and Doncaster.

Proceeds from the quiz will be donated to the firm’s chosen charities – St Gemma’s Hospice and Martin House Children’s Hospice. Last year the quiz raised more than £1,400 for local charities.

St. Gemma’s Hospice, Leeds, provides specialist medical and nursing care for people with life threatening illnesses, along with support for their families, in the In-patient unit, by the community care nurses, in the day hospice, or as an out-patient. Martin’s House Children’s Hospice at Boston Spa, Wetherby, provides family-led care for children with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, providing support, rest and practical help for children, young people and their families.

With a maximum of five people in each team, entries are £12 per head which includes a welcome drink and a pie supper. There will also be a fund raising raffle and a prize for the winning team. For more information contact clarebowler@hlwkeeblehawson.co.uk or call 0113 399 3481.
