New legal brief for Manchester PR specialists
Commercial law firm Berg has appointed Manchester communications agency Havas PR, to help them raise awareness of mis-selling issue, which has affected hundreds of businesses throughout the UK.
Manchester-based Berg provides corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, real estate, employment and family services, and specialises in banking and financial regulation. Over the past four years the firm has developed a specialism in banking in the field of interest rate swap advice.
Alison Loveday, managing partner at Berg, said: “These are very exciting times for Berg and we are delighted to have Havas as our PR partner. Their proposal showed that they really understood the complexities of the swaps issue and the impact it is having on UK SMEs”.
The account will be headed up by associate director, Jonathan Welsh of Havas PR’s Manchester office. “It is a fantastic account to work on and a great addition to our corporate offering.
“We look forward to working with Berg on raising awareness of this issue, which is having such an impact on some SME’s”.
Havas PR, which also has offices in Edinburgh and London, specialises in campaigns for clients in a variety of different sectors.
Berg’s banking and financial regulation team has been shortlisted in this year’s Manchester Young Talents Awards.
