‘We’re going international’ announces AdviserPlus CEO
AdviserPlus CEO Chris Clarke announced plans that the company would employ an additional 140 people over the next 18 months in order to meet growth plans which include ‘going international’.
Addressing an audience of over 300 Wirral business people attending the Invest Wirral Annual Business Conference at Thornton Hall Hotel, Wirral, Chris urged delegates to take advantage of the support available to them from Invest Wirral telling them “Invest Wirral ‘have been there when we’ve needed that bit of help to get to the next level”.
The business that launched from a bedroom 12 years ago, today employs 300 people and Chris credited Invest Wirral with being there during the ‘stretch points’ of growing the business.
AdviserPlus, based at Riverside Park, Wirral International Business Park, Bromborough, provides professional advisory services to 25,000 companies ranging from SMEs to FTSE 100 companies in the banking, telecommunications and rail sectors.
They have invested heavily in their people, technology and infrastructure and have used the support available from Invest Wirral to help them to reach key milestones of growth.
Talking about the next phase of their expansion plan, Chris added: “We are a company in a hurry and we plan to employ another 140 people in the next 18 months in order to meet our growth plans. This is an exciting time for us as an organisation. We are going international and with the help of Invest Wirral and the rich pool of talent here I am confident we can achieve our international ambitions.”
