Tees firm signs China deal
A Teesside firm has signed an exciting new deal to supply products to a major Chinese company.
Stokesley-based Analox Military Systems (AMS) has signed a distribution agreement with Beijing Huaputai Science and Technology Ltd, of Beijing.
Beijing Huaputai, which has previously used AMS products, is an established supplier to China’s medical markets, and is currently expanding its client base to include the country’s military sector.
But it’s now looking to build the military side of its portfolio with this new distribution agreement.
Jo Burke, account manager for Analox Military Systems, said: “We have no established contacts within the Chinese military, and this agreement opens up a new marketplace for us.
“We have known Beijing Huaputai for a few years, and have built up a strong relationship.
“With this partnership now formalised, we are confident that this will prove successful for both companies.”
Beijing Huaputai will now market two of AMS’ products designed specifically for military markets, the Sub MkIIIF Hyperbaric Atmosphere Monitor and the Sub MkIIP analyser.
The Sub MkIIP is a compact analyser which provides submariners with key decision making tools should they ever find themselves in a DISSUB or ‘distressed submarine’ situation.
It is the only analyser on the market which meets the current NATO requirements for atmospheric monitoring equipment located in submarines with an escape capability (STANAG 1320).
Beijing Huaputai general manager YongChao Yu, added: “AMS products constantly receive excellent feedback, the staff are highly skilled and professional and the customer service and after-sales support are also exemplary.
“Now we are formally an Analox Military System’s agent in China, we are putting our efforts into substantially growing this area of our business.”
Analox Military Systems is a division of Analox Group.
Earlier this month its Analox Sensor Technology business announced a new distribution partnership which will see two companies work together to secure deals on every continent.
The firm is partnering with Castle Group,a technical safety, health and environment company.
