Zine double workforce in three months and plan Newcastle office
Barnard Castle-based digital media outfit Zine has doubled its workforce in three months thanks to a rapidly growing client base and franchise network, and now plan to open a Newcastle office.
The specialists in SEO, web design, branding and corporate marketing have hired fifteen new staff since April 2013, doubling the business’ size.
Zine now employs 21 full time staff, two part timers and five professional consultants. The firm now has a presence in every region of the UK.
New additions include two new web developers, Javid Iqbal and Mark Armstrong; graphic designers, Helen Pringle and Liam Hutchinson; web designer, Jordan Taylor; project manager, Nick Tuck; business administrator, Connor Dodds; franchise support, Aaron Roberts; copy writers, Kevin Maughan and Paul Breton; telemarketer Scott Richardson; PPC specialist Iain Forrest and marketing communications lead, Sarah Gent.
Rosa Glover is heading up the Zine office in Google campus and Saul Howells is joining as sales executive to lead the opening of the Newcastle office.
Sarah Gent said: “I am delighted to be enjoying the dynamic, creative and successful staff at Zine. Walking into the office here, the reason behind Zine’s significant success is obvious – a talented, committed and enthusiastic team working well together to provide clients with the best web products and services on the market, at affordable prices.”
