Manchester business software firm expands to South Africa
Intuitive Business Intelligence, based in Manchester’s Deansgate, is accelerating its strategy of international growth, announcing today that it is expanding operations into Africa, with the launch of a regional office in South Africa.
The company’s second global expansion in as many weeks, the move further strengthens Intuitive Business Intelligence’s position in the sector and underpins its ongoing strategy of investment into new and emerging markets in order to deliver dashboard solutions to a worldwide audience.
Uniting critical management information from disparate data sources, Intuitive Business Intelligence’s product, Intuitive Dashboards, presents users with relevant information in an engaging interactive format.
By delivering proactive alerts to potential variances and shortfalls, as well as highlighting trends, users are able to reveal the root cause of issues, enabling them to make faster, more accurate decisions.
Neil Waugh, Director, Intuitive Business Intelligence Africa, said: “Over the past decade, Africa has continued to defy the recession through a programme of sustained foreign investment which has positively impacted upon many sectors across the continent.
“With increased investment comes growing demand for more sophisticated yet intuitive dashboard technology which meets the complex needs of all business users while enabling enhanced decision-making through real-time collaboration.
“While the enterprise BI market in Africa is developed, we have found business users are now demanding an easy-to-use dashboard which can provide accurate real-time performance insight, in order to make important business decisions.
“The opening of our regional office in South Africa will enable us to respond to these requirements by offering a world-class dashboard solution which is fast-to-implement and which can provide instant, interactive access to critical data, empowering users to streamline their operations.”
Roger Stocker, Sales Director at Intuitive Business Intelligence, added, “Against a backdrop of continued overseas investment, Africa’s growing BI market represents a substantial opportunity for Intuitive Business Intelligence as we significantly accelerate our global presence. As organisations across Africa increasingly turn to BI as a critical business enabler, it has firmly established itself as one of the fastest growing software markets on the continent.” Over the next 18 months, Intuitive Business Intelligence plans to establish a footprint in the majority of English speaking countries in Africa.
