Buffet-style restaurant COSMO take unit at New Front

Town Centre Securities has handed over the keys to its latest tenant at the New Front leisure scheme in Leeds’ Arena Quarter, buffet-style restaurant COSMO.

The restaurant chain, which has now commenced its fit-out, is looking to fill some 60 full and part-time positions prior to its launch in Easter 2014.

Town Centre Securities recently unveiled its exciting plans for a brand new leisure destination at the Merrion Centre to meet all the dining, leisure and parking needs of the yearly millions of visitors to the Merrion Centre and thousands of visitors to the neighbouring First Direct Arena. COSMO, Pure Gym and Costa Coffee have already signed up to take some of the 80,000 sq ft of leisure space on offer within 10 new units at the New Front within the City’s Arena Quarter.

Work also includes a transformed 1,000 space car park and extensive enhancements to the public realm to allow for street café seating.

COSMO’s unique dining experience of offering 120 banquet dishes with exciting Live Cooking stations has seen it grow from a single restaurant in 2003 into a chain of 12 with a total of 20 restaurants scheduled to be operational by the end of 2014. COSMO’s lively dining experience is especially popular with large parties, families and students as it caters for all tastes and budgets.

Fit-out of the 12,500 sq ft New Front restaurant is now underway to introduce the elegant, modern COSMO brand of interiors and the company has recruited local people to its operations team. Additionally, around 60 full and part-time positions will be advertised in the New Year on COSMO’s dedicated jobs page at www.leisurejobs.com.
