V1 announces new Managing Director
Leading business automation software provider, V1, today announces the appointment of new Managing Director, Janette Martin. The company’s former Head of Sales succeeds Greg Ford in the role.
Janette has over 14 years sales management experience in the software industry, primarily at Sage UK where she held several senior roles including General Manager (Outsourcing) and Head of Sales (Accountants and SME software).
In her new post, she will lead 90 members of staff and will oversee the development of four new products into the existing V1 portfolio.
V1, traditionally known for its award-winning document management software, recently expanded its product portfolio. The software provider now offers a range of business automation solutions including; professional services automation, training & learning management, facilities management, project accounting as well as document management.
Janette said: “V1 has a strong presence in the UK document management arena, and our new solutions will enable us to expand our footprint in the business automation space.
The company has grown significantly in the last 12 months and my main goal now is to continue driving the business forward, using the momentum of economic recovery to springboard our own ambitious year-on-year growth plans.
“I’m thrilled to be part of a company with such an exciting future, and am confident we have the right partners, solutions and staff in place to deliver further impressive results as we move forward.”
V1’s software integrates into all major accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, enabling the automated delivery, storage, management and processing of documents. Typically, businesses which use V1’s technology see a return on investment within just six months.
The company has won numerous awards including four Software Satisfaction Awards and has been shortlisted for another this year.
V1 provides document management and imaging software solutions that are now used by more than 2,000 customers across all sectors, works side-by-side with businesses to enable the creation, storage, capture, authorisation and delivery of business documents.
