Forward Ladies announce Women in Business awards shortlist
This year’s Barclays-Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards has received a huge and diverse number of entries.
It has shortlisted some of the most successful business and professional women that Yorkshire and the North East have to offer, with the results announced to be announced at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on 15th November.
The awards have been running for 4 years in the Yorkshire and Humber region, and included the North East for the first time this year.
Some of the biggest sponsors of this years awards are ASDA, the Co-operative Group, East Coast, Finance Yorkshire, O2 and UKTI.

The categories which have been shortlisted and will be nominated on Friday are:
- Corporate Leader award
- Home-based business woman
- Manufacturing business woman of the year
- Women in Propery award
- Young business woman of the year
- PA of the year
- Start-up business woman of the year
- SME business woman of the year
- International business woman of the year
- Professional/Corporate business woman
- Retail business woman of the year
- Not-for-profit business woman of the year
