Increase in profits means Bradford law firm is spreading out
Bradford aw firm Last Cawthra Feather (LCF) has announced plans to relocate its Bradford city centre base following a significant increase in profits.
Over the past 12 months it has reduced its costs by 13.4% whilst increasing turnover by 3.3%.
The company has been at its current premises on Sunbridge Road since 1999 and will move into the new 11,000 sq ft offices before the end of the year, with Knight Frank advising on the deal.
LCF employs an 80 strong team and also has offices in Leeds and Ilkley.
Simon Stell, Managing Partner at LCF, explains: “Over the last 18 months we’ve seen a noticeable improvement in the economy with all our departments, covering both commercial and personal issues, across our three offices experiencing growth and winning new business.
“Signing the lease on One St James Business Park marks the start of an important chapter for LCF and it will give us a fantastic base to continue growing the business.”
“The building is extremely modern with plenty of parking and is in a great location, just a short walk from transport routes and the courts in Bradford city centre on a highly accessible road network which makes it ideal for us and we’re grateful to Knight Frank for their assistance and advice throughout the deal.”
Alex Duckett from Knight Frank adds: “One St James Business Park offers high quality and extremely flexible floor plates in an easily accessible location so it ticks all the boxes. This is also a key deal for Bradford’s office market which has seen activity levels improving since the start of the year and this momentum looks set to continue into 2014.”
Finally Simon adds: “We have many established clients based in Bradford and a long history in the city of providing legal solutions for both businesses and individuals. Whilst we have a growing office in Leeds, we are firmly committed to maintaining a significant presence in the city of Bradford and we’re delighted to be cementing our future here with this office move.”
