Context PR clinches deal with Media 1 Productions
Cheshire firm Context Public Relations has been appointed by conference and event service provider Media 1 Productions to lead its B2B social media strategy.
The technology PR agency’s remit is to drive awareness of Media 1’s products, which include a webcast service for small firms and large corporations wanting to host high-quality conferences online instead of more expensive physical events.
Context had already produced some work for the company, but now it will also create and manage a social media strategy aimed at marketing, communications and conference managers. Both firms are based in Macclesfield.
Steve Bindley, director and founder of Media 1 Productions said: “We’ve previously asked Context to provide PR support and saw positive media coverage as a result,”
“Too many companies jump on the social media bandwagon and, with Context on board, we can better engage with existing and potential customers, and inform them about our new product offerings.”
Earlier this year, Context clinched work with Apadmi and LifeSize Touch.
Managing director Frank Smith said: “Our job is to demonstrate Media 1 Production’s expertise through media relations and content marketing.
“The company is now looking to bring its expertise to organisations of all sizes, and communicate the fact that it can manage the technical aspects that require real in-depth expertise and attention to detail.”
