Cheshire sci-tech company key sponsor at Care Home Awards
One of Cheshire’s leading sci-tech companies, Arcis:Altos, is to be a key sponsor at the prestigious Scottish Care National Care Home Awards.
Based at the Sci-Tech campus at Daresbury near Warrington, Arcis:Altos developed Noroclear – a world-leading product which has been scientifically proven to combat norovirus in less than 60 seconds in addition to many other harmful superbugs.
The firm is sponsoring the Partnership Award, which recognises an individual or company which has demonstrated imagination, creativity and partnership to provide improved results for its service users.
Among the short-listed entrants for the award are: Parklands Duthac House & Alasdair Rhind Funeral Directors, Greenfield Park Step Up Unit in Partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Glasgow City Council and Springboig Care Home and St Timothy’s. The winner will be announced at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on Friday.
Jeff Smith from Arcis, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring such a prestigious award ceremony which recognises innovation and excellence across the Scottish care home sector.
“It is very easy for the work of these individuals and organisations to go unrecognised so it is a great privilege to be able to help them get that recognition for the work they do to give help and support to the people and communities in which they work.”
More than 620 people attended the ceremony, which has become an annual event, last year to mark the fantastic work carried out by thousands of care workers from across the country.
There will be 12 categories at this year’s awards recognising excellence across the care home sector.
