Phase two of £3million Momentum Business Centre completes
Construction work on the second phase of a £3 million business park in Lancashire has now been completed.
Momentum Business Centre@Buckshaw, in Chorley, will deliver 35 business units, offering flexible office and industrial space.
The 11 units comprising phase one of the site have now all been sold, and of those that make up phase two; two are sold and the other 10 are now under offer.
Businesses to sign up to Phase two include, rail engineering firm, Haigh Rail, which has taken space of 1,085 sq ft and race bike specialists, Race Suspension Services, which will now occupy 636 sq ft.
Jeremy Lefton, director at Roundhouse Properties said: “Demand for these properties has been huge, we had talks with a number of occupiers for units in this second phase long before it was completed and phase one is completely full. We are now in discussions with a number of businesses who are looking at space in phase three, and units there are also moving fast.
“The key to success so far at Momentum Business Centre is that we have given both large and small businesses access to flexible, affordable and fit for purpose accommodation, which can be purchased outright, leased or even a combination of both through our lease purchase scheme.”
JWS Construction, will now start work on the third phase of the 2.5 acre development, where it will build the final 12 units, due to be completed in March 2014. Phase one was completed earlier this year.
The development, which is a joint veture with JWS Developments is directly marketed by Roundhouse Properties supported by Bailey Deakin & Hamiltons which is the sole agent for the development. The architect was Dave Taylor of Partington Associates, who also provided planning advice.
