Flint Hyde headhunters expands in Leeds
GVA, the UK’s largest independent commercial property consultancy, has successfully completed the sale of a prominent Leeds office building to the executive headhunters, Flint Hyde.
Flint Hyde boasts offices in both Leeds and London and will relocate from its rented premises at The Bourse, to 21 York Place, as it invests in the purchase of its first Leeds property.
Flint Hyde has purchased the property as an investment, with a view to letting the unoccupied space to other small businesses. GVA acted for a private landlord in the deal.
The Grade II listed, 4,888 sq ft building boasts undercroft car parking and has been previously refurbished to provide an attractive, self-contained office space.
Matthew Tootell, director of national markets and offices at GVA, who negotiated the deal, said: “21 York Place sits in the heart of Leeds’s financial district and offers excellent local amenities such as restaurants, coffee shops and bars, making it an ideal hub for a people-focused business such as Flint Hyde.
“The Leeds office market is showing positive signs of growth and we’re happy to see that there is still great demand from small and expanding businesses looking to make the move into owned property.”
Knight Frank acted on behalf of Flint Hyde in the deal.
