Pixel8 celebrates string of contract wins
Branding and digital agency Pixel8 is celebrating a host of contract wins, including ones with Investors in People, personalised cards and calendars business Personalise.com and town planning consultancy Turley Associates.
Pixel8, based in Manchester, has been appointed following a four-way pitch by Investors in People to develop its range of branded materials and create guidelines for their use by its partners across the UK.
Jamie Watson, managing partner at Pixel8, said: “We are delighted to be working with an iconic British brand that is so clearly associated with benefiting individuals and businesses.
“Our work is intended to maximise the effectiveness of the overall IIP brand by creating consistency across all platforms.
“Just over a quarter of the UK’s workforce is employed by organisations that have Investors in People status, and we’re extremely proud that our work will touch so many people.
“Investors in People is a great addition to our expanding portfolio.”
Meanwhile, Pixel8’s branding, design and development teams have revamped Personalise.com’s e-commerce website, providing improved search navigation and an enhanced customer experience.
The new-look site works across mobile and tablet formats and includes a feature for photographs on Facebook to be uploaded on to calendars and cards.
Personalise.com is the sole provider of licensed merchandise for pop acts such as One Direction and Sir Cliff Richard as well as football clubs, TV programmes and films.
Pixel8’s work for employee-owned Turley Associates, which operates from a network of 10 offices across Britain, has involved the design of a new-look website.
Other recent deals include designing stationery and the logo for watch and jewellery repairs specialist Repairs by Post, search engine optimisation and other digital services for Mirus Journeys, a luxury travel business based in Tattenhall, Cheshire, and social media services to promote 24 Bar & Grill at the Arora Hotel, Manchester.
Jamie added: “These customer wins demonstrate our ability to help a wide range of regional, national and international businesses and organisations to develop their brand identity and digital proposition.”
The agency employs 24 staff at its studios on Little Lever Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
