Work gets underway in Bidford-on-Avon
Work has begun on the site of a former orchard as a leading house builder brings much-needed and highly sought after housing to the area.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands is building 48 homes at Belle Fields, on Waterloo Road in Bidford-on-Avon, with a stylish range of two, three and four-bedroom homes. Work is now well under way and the new homes are expected to go on sale in March next year, coinciding nicely with the opening of a fully-furnished showhome. Richard Oldroyd, managing director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “The new build market is extremely competitive and we are acutely aware of the need to build the very best homes in the most sought after locations. With this in mind we are very excited to start-on-site in the beautiful village of Bidford-on-Avon and expect demand for the homes to be high.”
Bidford-on-Avon, located 6 miles west of the historic town of Stratford, offers picturesque riverside living with the 800 year old St. Laurence Church at the heart of the community. The local primary school is a short walk from the Belle Fields development and just a stone’s throw away is the sprawling 26 acre riverside recreational park, known as Big Meadow, perfect for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
Richard added: “Buying a new home is now more affordable and straightforward than ever thanks to incentives including the Government-backed Help to Buy, Home Change, Newbuy and the Persimmon part exchange scheme and I urge buyers to act now to secure their preferred property at the Belle Fields development prior to general release by registering their interest on our website.”
Buying at the early stages of development allows customers to personalise their property by choosing from a range of fixtures and fittings such as kitchen units, flooring, tiles or accessories from the Persimmon Homes Finishing Touches Collection.
