adept4 appoints new Managing Director
IT services company adept4 has announced the appointment of a new managing director following rapid growth.
Martin Perry, who joins the firm from a role as MD of IT services company K3 Solutions, has more than 25 years’ experience in the software and technology delivery business and will play a key role in positioning the company to pursue long-term expansion.
adept4 is a full-service IT solutions company, which services a global network of clients in all sectors. The company is headquartered in Daresbury, Cheshire with offices in Aberdeen and London.
Perry’s role will involve implementing process reviews and an operational restructure; ensuring that the company continues to operate at optimum capacity as it experiences sustained growth. adept4’s existing executive team led by CEO Peter Birkett, CTO Infrastructure Paul Talbot and CTO Software Steve Cosgrove remains in place.
Martin Perry said: “I’m delighted to be joining adept4, they’re an ambitious, focused team and are experiencing significant growth.
“I firmly believe that customer engagement should be the number one priority – which is an ethos which chimes with that of the adept4 directors. I’m looking forward to working with the adept4 team to deliver the necessary infrastructure to ensure that future growth is delivered sustainably.”
Peter Birkett, adept4 CEO, said: “Martin’s extensive industry experience and expertise will help to condition and prepare the business for future growth and help us to expand without compromising on efficiency, capability or quality of service.
“His focus on great customer service and delivery is a perfect match for adept4’s philosophy and he’s also well versed in improving and scaling up businesses to meet their longer term ambitions.”
The appointment follows a very successful year for the business, which has experienced significant growth - more than doubling its staff base in the period, taking its team to over 50 people. adept4 has also successfully established an office in Aberdeen, following the six-figure buyout of Aberdeen-based IT company, K10 Solutions in January .
