Archers Law launches later hours
Tees Valley law firm Archers Law has launched a late hours’ service to fit in with the busy lifestyle of clients.
The Stockton-based practice has extended its opening hours until 7pm every Thursday, to help clients who may struggle to keep appointments during normal office hours.
The service – which was launched this month – came after solicitors at Archers Law noticed that its clients were increasingly requesting meetings out of hours.
Angela Torrance, a Partner at Archers Law and Head of Private Clients, said: “We have launched the extended hours’ scheme on Thursdays to move with the times.
“There can sometimes be a perception that professional services are too traditional by strictly keeping to hours between 9 and 5.
“That can prove prohibitive to clients especially if they are still at work or have family commitments.
“Life is just at a faster pace these days and we have often had clients asking if we could see them after 5pm.”
Angela thinks after extended hours appear to work well within GP surgeries, she predicts other sectors will follow suit.
“It’s something we wanted to try at Archers Law to provide a far more accessible service for our clients,” she added.
The later hours’ service will extend to all of Archers Law’s divisions including personal, business and family law and wills, probates and trusts.
