Coles continues its expansion with key appointments
Fast-growing North East and Yorkshire-based law firm Coles Solicitors has expanded its team amid surging demand for its conveyancing and other property-related services.
The firm, which was launched in 2007 and has since opened six branches across the North, has added two key appointments to its conveyancing team.
Kelly Buckle-Fleming joins as head of conveyancing and will be based at the group’s Thirsk branch, while newly appointed conveyancer Dorothy Price is based at its Northallerton office.
In the coming months the business expects to grow its 30-strong workforce further and is also planning to open a new office within the North East as it continues its expansion.
Peter Gibson, managing director and principal solicitor at Coles, said: “The property market has witnessed an upturn this year and we have expanded our conveyancing team to capitalise on this, while also broadening the areas we provide property related services too.
“I am delighted that capable and experienced people like Kelly and Dorothy continue to join our growing team. By shaping a modern forward thinking law firm, with genuine historic links and roots coupled with great client care, we are increasingly attracting the very best in the profession.”
Kelly Buckle-Fleming, who has 12 years of legal experience working at law firms across London, Leeds and Harrogate, said: “I am extremely excited to join Coles Solicitors and look forward to building relationships with our existing client base and working to grow the conveyancing department. I am very proud to join a team that already benefits from a very good reputation which I hope to build upon.”
Dorothy Price, who has worked in the legal profession for over 40 years, said: “It’s great to be joining a progressive law firm which has such a strong sense of identity and heritage in Yorkshire and The North East. I look forward to helping the property and conveyancing team expand its caseload throughout the region.”
Although Coles Solicitors has been trading in its current form for six years, the Coles brand name has been in existence within the legal sector since 1965.
The group, which has offices in Northallerton, York, Thirsk, Settle, Yarm and Guisborough, has grown largely through acquisition and can trace its roots back over 200 years.
