Excello Law plans global expansion after Sweden launch
Virtual commercial law firm Excello Law is targeting ongoing global growth after expanding into Sweden and confirming its plans to continue its impressive growth and build up its team of lawyers through recruitment.
The firm, which is spearheaded in the North East by highly regarded legal practitioner Mark Gardner, uses leading-edge technology to cut out the unnecessary overheads and waste associated with traditional law companies.
It currently has a team of 39 lawyers with a combined 750 years of experience but, as it bids to build up its international presence, it is also actively recruiting to grow.
Excello Law has launched a new operation in Sweden, where it has initially taken on a four-strong team of lawyers and they will provide the Scandinavian market with a full commercial law service.
Moving forward, the firm expects to access further overseas markets as part of its drive to globally spread its unique approach – which sees only experienced lawyers working flexibly to add value to businesses.
Mark Gardner, a dispute resolution, insolvency and debt recovery specialist, joined Excello Law last year as a recognised Legal 500 practitioner. Mark works in the North East and has recently celebrated 25 years as a qualified solicitor.
He believes much of Excello’s success can be attributed to the flexibility it affords its practitioners and clients, enabling issues to be dealt with in the most appropriate manner with the backing of a full service law firm and the experience of others within the firm.
He said: “The legal sector in common with all other businesses is not immune from economic and customer pressures to deliver its services or products in a cost-effective, user friendly efficient manner. The virtual model delivers benefits for both the client and the lawyer.
“Having such an experienced group of lawyers under the same umbrella means we are able to pass work amongst ourselves to ensure the client gets the appropriate person to deal with their situation.
“The expansion into Sweden means we can extend the range of services we offer clients and act confidently with businesses exporting into Sweden and also those from Sweden coming into the UK.”
Excello Law offers a full range of services to businesses covering a broad mix of areas including insolvency, debt recovery, commercial disputes, finance, commercial property, employment issues, tax and VAT.
Other areas include construction law, property disputes, IT and e-commerce, data protection, media and advertising law, outsourcing and procurement and sports law.
