New Technology Company launches on Friday 6 December with address by Chi Onwurah MP
Two successful North East technology companies have merged to form Adept Communications and Technology and will launch on Friday 6 December with an address by Chi Onwurah, Labour MP for Newcastle Central and Shadow Cabinet Office Minister.
All interested are welcome to attend this launch event at 2pm which will take place at Adept Communications and Technology offices at Owners Business Centre, Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 8LN.
Adept Communications and Technology will offer synchronised communications and IT to small and medium sized businesses from Manchester to Scotland, streamlining companies’ technical connectivity to a simple and efficient single platform where previously IT and telecommunications would exist in separate systems.
This new company is a merger between Way 2 Communicate, leading North East providers of telecommunications services and Nomis Systems, a successful IT support company which has offered IT solutions and services to a range of North East businesses for over 10 years.
Adept Communications and Technology will offer a full range of IT and communications technology to companies with simple, speedy and single connectivity being key to their operations, enabling clients to connect, communicate and accomplish objectives much more efficiently and effectively than before.
The company offers services based around three main areas:
- Infrastructure including unified communications, IT support, disaster recovery, network services, IP telephony and virtualisation
- Connectivity, covering internet access, collocation, MPLS IP-VPN, lines and trunks
- Managed services including hosted exchange, anti spam, online backup, virtual servers and virtual desk top
Chi Onwurah says: “The North East has fantastic, local IT skills and infrastructure and is a great place to do business. Companies need to know how to take advantage of digital technology to grow their businesses and I’m pleased that Adept Communication and Technology will be helping provide the skills and support our businesses need.”
Michelle Pugh, BSc Managing Director of Adept Communications and Technology says: “We have a highly qualified, experienced and skilled team of Adept technicians working around the clock and can offer real time support at any hour. Unlike other communications and technology companies who leave clients waiting in a queue or having to leave messages you’ll find we always answer and can offer support straight away – when you need it - not the next day! All our technicians are also all trained in customer relations so any support or advice you receive is in language you understand.”
Phil Pugh, BSc, MSc, MBA, Sales Director says: “We’re delighted to offer this new super-efficient and streamlined service to clients, helping them to save time and money by aligning all their communications. As business owners ourselves, we understand only too well the connectivity issues facing small and medium sized enterprises and our aligned systems can help improve these at very little cost. As testament to the quality of the systems we install, we work with schools and universities across the North and Sunderland University already uses our systems to train their technology students - endorsement indeed!”
