NewVoiceMedia appoints VP Sales NA East to expand presence in the region
NewVoiceMedia, a leading global provider of cloud contact centre solutions, announces the appointment of Jamison Powell as Vice President Sales, North America Eastern Region.
Powell joins following several leadership positions at hi-tech organisations. Most recently he served as VP of Buyer Sales at Panjiva, where he led sales and lead generation. Prior to that, Powell was Sr. Director of Sales at MessageLabs, acquired by Symantec, and drove inside sales and channels for FalconStor as well as Symbol Technologies, acquired by Motorola. At NewVoiceMedia, Jamison will continue to expand the sales organisation throughout North America East, accelerating growth through new customer acquisition and maintaining successful and trusted partnerships with existing customers.
Powell’s appointment to the newly-created role reflects NewVoiceMedia’s significant growth and further demonstrates its on-going commitment to providing customers and prospects in the region with the best possible support. The business is growing at more than twice the rate of the rapidly expanding cloud contact centre market and has doubled its number of staff over the last year to meet increased demand for its technology.
Jamison comments, “This is a very exciting time to be joining NewVoiceMedia; we are a very ambitious company and are disrupting the contact centre market here in North America. I’m pleased to be taking on this new challenge and look forward to working with the team to build on the company’s recent successes.”
Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, adds, “NewVoiceMedia is positioned at the forefront of the market as it rapidly adopts cloud contact centre technologies. There is strong demand for our innovative true cloud solutions in North America and we are building our capabilities to ensure we always give our customers the best experience available. With Jamison’s extensive experience within the IT industry, he will be instrumental to our continued growth in the region and I wish him every success in his new role.”
