Teesside serviced apartments firm announces turnover trebling to £300,000

A North East serviced accommodation firm is celebrating after trebling its turnover to £300,000 following a number of major contract wins.

Elite Serviced Apartments, of Teesside, has attributed its growth success to securing long term contracts with commercial organisations, including Air Products and Chemicals, Able UK, Huntsman, and SNF Oil & Gas, to house their personnel whilst temporarily staying within the region.

Since expanding its number of four and five star rated properties and location of accommodation earlier this year to three areas, Hartlepool Marina, Yarm and Thornaby, the firm has seen the amount of group bookings increase dramatically.

With extensive occupancy of accommodation already taken for 2014 and some in 2015 Elite Serviced Apartments has now increased its target turnover to reach £1m within two years.

Managing director of Elite Serviced Apartments Katrina Rosser, said: “We are thrilled to report our turnover has trebled within 2013. This is due specifically to our strong relationships with national and international organisations operating within the industrial sector in the region.

“As our reputation has grown in the commercial sector we have been rewarded with long term contracts, some with the potential to span up to two years, with clients.

“By expanding our portfolio throughout 2013 in three separate locations we have also increased the number of people we are able to cater for and have been inundated by requests for large group bookings.”

Robert Piner, commissioning manager of Air Products and Chemicals, said: “As a businessman, traveling extensively and utilising various accommodations in the Yorkshire area over the last several months, I highly recommend Elite Serviced Apartments as one of the best corporate venues in the area.

“The apartments are clean and nicely furnished, and all members of staff are professional, cooperative and hospitable.”
