Jewellery retailer opens new store In Liverpool’s Metquarter

Liverpool’s fashion-savvy shoppers now have a new Mecca in town with the arrival of a brand new Mococo store in the Metquarter. The jewellery retailer’s latest emporium officially opens on Friday, December 6, and stocks a huge range of top designer brands including Chlobo, Shaun Leane, Thomas Sabo, Pandora, Swarovski, Diamonfire and Nomination.

The new store, located on the ground floor of the shopping centre, replaces the much smaller Mococo shop, which opened in Metquarter in 2009 and proved to be such a huge hit with customers, an expansion was always the cards. The improved store also boasts a fabulous Champagne and coffee bar, where Mococo customers can book in to view the collections.

Lee Hooson, managing director at Mococo, said: “We are so excited about our brand new store in Liverpool’s Metquarter. The City’s customers have been so loyal to us, they deserve to have even more of the world’s most exciting jewellery brands at their fingertips.”

Mococo has cornered a market for “affordable luxury” in the jewellery market, securing unique, design-led brands and more exclusive ranges.

Founded in 2006 by Maureen and Lee Hooson, Mococo has continued to expand and now has five stores across the North West and North Wales in Chester, Mold, Ruthin, Wrexham and Liverpool, plus a recently-opened Pandora concept store in Wigan’s Grand Arcade Shopping Centre. Mococo was also recently highlighted as a ‘Retail Star’ in the Professional Jeweller HOT 100.

During open day the first 50 shoppers at the Liverpool store will be treated to a stunning silver bracelet if they spend £75 on Pandora. There will also be a number of other promotions to mark the special occasion.
