Southampton agency Advantec given Google Partner status
Southampton digital agency Advantec has been awarded partner agency status by Google, in recognition of the firm’s expert search marketing team.
Google launched its UK partner programme in November, as a way to help small to medium-sized businesses connect with agencies that can help them get more out of the web.
As a Google Partner, Advantec has been recognised as an online marketing company that stays ahead of the curve, operates using industry best practice and is trusted by Google.
“Achieving Google trusted partner status is testament to the dedication of our search marketing team, who are committed to delivering a world-class service that really gets results,” said Andrew Brittain, managing director of Advantec.
He added: “As the world of search engine marketing changes so rapidly, there’s no better way to stay on top of Google’s ever-changing methods and algorithm than to have the kind of close relationship with Google itself that partner agency status gives us.”
For Advantec, the accreditation is just the latest in a line of achievements. Mark Pearcy, head of search marketing, was recently one of only eight SEO professionals in the UK to be invited to attend Google’s worldwide ‘Engage’ conference in Silicon Valley, California. Mark joined 200 individuals from around the world for the exclusive, all-expenses-paid, four-day trip to the famous Googleplex.
Mark said: “Being invited to visit the Google headquarters in California was amazing and achieving partner status now is really the icing on the cake. The whole team is passionate about what we do and about achieving results for our clients, so it’s great to be recognised in this way.”
Advantec is recognised as one of the top digital agencies in the south east. The company works with clients ranging from local and national businesses to government organisations, including the NHS, Southampton University, Alcohol Concern and Hargroves Cycles.
