North East venue ensures 2014 arrives with a roar…
A leading North East venue will be celebrating the arrival of 2014 in style - with the promise of not one but seven parties in one night.
Tiger Tiger at The Gate Newcastle has announced its plans to mark the new year by holding an event in each of its seven individually styled rooms, which will all be tied together around the main theme of a grand Masquerade Ball.
The club has come up with a range of offerings to suit everyone’s tastes - from a Michael Buble tribute act and buffet to a VIP wining and dining experience with dancing until the early hours.
Tiger Tiger’s December 31 offering includes an Ibiza themed party in the venue’s White Room, a tiki hideaway themed party in the Kanaloa room and 70’s party in the Groovy Wonderland area.
The masquerade ball was traditionally part of the 15th century medieval carnival season and in homage to its history, the club has organised everything from confetti cannons to stilt walkers to create a party atmosphere with music from across the decades.
Lorisse Taylor, Senior Sales and Events Executive for the venue said: “People get tired of doing the same things year after year. New Year’s Eve is a big night and it’s often hard to find something that suits everyone.
“There are so many different parties to choose from, so this year we decided to bring them all together so that everyone can enjoy New Year in their own way.”
Tickets are priced at £15 for the event and include a free mask, a Champagne reception and access to all seven of the themed parties.
There is also a VIP package at £200, excluding the ticket price, which includes a bottle of vodka with mixers and a bottle of Moet. Various other drinks packages are available on request.
There will also be a limited number of tickets available on the door on New Year’s Eve for £20.
