Business loans provider sees deals double
Short-term business lender Bridging Finance Limited has announced that it more than doubled the number of deals completed over the past 12 months.
Funding provided by the firm was up 52 per cent by the end of October, compared with the same period 12 months ago.
Bridging Finance Ltd recently completed its move to new headquarters at the Cheadle Royal business park in Greater Manchester.
Managing director Chris Baguley said: “We are definitely seeing confidence grow in the market as the UK economy shows signs of recovery.
“The demand for reliable, professional and fast short term funding solutions is increasing.
“These figures cement our position as the leading bridging finance provider to the professional services and property investors.
“We’ve also established ourselves as the first port of call for company directors who need quick funding to pay corporate tax, VAT bills or the costs of stock and equipment where suppliers are demanding payment upfront.
“In the past 12 months we’ve developed good relationships with banks in the region which are passing what they perceive to be more complex lending decisions over to us to make a rapid assessment to see if we can provide finance to their client, which in many cases we are able to.”
Bridging provides business bridging loans from £30,000 to more than £2m.
