Trimega gain Investors in People Silver
Trimega Laboratories Ltd has gained Investors in People (IIP) Silver status, building on their previous success with the business improvement framework.
This additional accreditation follows the July announcement that hair drug testing analysis at Trimega’s newly enhanced Manchester laboratory was awarded accreditation to the international quality standard, ISO/IEC 17025:2005, by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
Achieving Investors in People Silver illustrates a forward thinking and expansive approach to cascading best practice through every level of an organisation - demonstrating a progressive approach to business improvement through people.
To achieve IIP Silver, a company must gain an additional 76 evidence requirements above the 39 within the Investors in People Standard. During its assessment, Trimega achieved 84.
“Achieving Investors in People Silver is very much a team effort involving all staff“, said Allison Newby, HR Manager. “The IIP Specialist interviews a random selection staff and asks a series of questions about development, management and organisation.
“It is evident from our IIP feedback that staff responses reflected Trimega’s core values, career development opportunities and culture of continuous improvement. The whole exercise demonstrated that we are achieving our goal of becoming the employer of choice in this sector of the market.
“I’m really proud of the team and look forward to continuing on our journey to develop the culture and echo the sentiments of our IIP Specialist, “Where change and growth is positively welcomed and embraced with vigour“.
