Graffiti Kings help launch flasghip TSHIRT store in Leeds
International fashion retailer TSHIRT STORE opened the doors of its new UK flagship store in Leeds last weekend.
The store, in Trinity Leeds, sells a range of unique t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories designed by worldwide artists, illustrators and graphic designers under its DEDICATED range.
To celebrate the opening on Saturday, TSHIRT STORE teamed up with the world renowned Graffiti Kings to design a spectacular piece of live art that captivated shoppers and created a huge buzz around the street clothing brand.
The Graffiti Kings, who were the official graffiti artists for the London Olympics, transformed a wall opposite Trinity Kitchen between 11am and 4pm making an impressive masterpiece that brought a taste of underground subculture to the people of Leeds.
Robin Skidmore, commercial director of TSHIRT STORE UK, said: “Having spent my university years in Leeds, I think it is the ideal location for our flagship store and it will be a big hit with the students. It is one of the best places outside of London for shopping and we are expecting to see some great results.
“The TSHIRT STORE brand is all about being individual and expressive but there is definitely a rebellious element there too which is why the Graffiti Kings were the perfect collaboration.”
Paul Smith, development marketing manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “The TSHIRT STORE is a fabulous addition to our growing line up of top class retailers. Their brand ethic is a perfect match with ours, bringing a truly unique experience to the shoppers of Leeds.”
Throughout this week TSHIRT STORE is encouraging people to go along and take pictures of the art and tweet them using the hashtag #snapandshare to @TSHIRTSTOREUK and in return they will receive a 20% discount code off their first purchase to spend online or in store.
