More free retail conferences announced in Yorkshire for 2014
The latest edition of the Retail Matters magazine is out now and features fantastic stories from across the Sheffield City Region.
The magazine is designed to recognise innovative retailers who consistently change their ways of working to bring exciting products and services to shoppers, from local the local community to world-wide online trading.
The Retail Matters magazine runs alongside a series of retail conferences held at The Source. The conferences are co-ordinated by The Source as part of the organisation’s involvement in the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership. The events aim to share best practice in the retail sector to help establish the Sheffield City Region as the Retail Hub of the North. The Source will co-ordinate three conferences during 2014 focussing on different retail topics:
19th March 2014, 1.30pm until 4pm: Increasing sales and business growth through effective marketing - This conference will be invaluable for any retailer looking to grow their business in 2014. Subjects include innovative marketing techniques, creating a strong brand and expanding into new markets.
21st May 2014, 1.30pm until 4pm: Utilising the digital world to benefit your business - This half day conference is perfect for any retailer looking to utilise the digital world to benefit their business in 2014, offering an insight on subjects such as social media, online customer service and omni-channel retailing.
17th September 2014: Improving business performance by investing in staff as ambassadors - This half day conference is designed for any retailer looking to inspire employees to improve business performance, providing an overview of the importance of organisational culture, improving performance through investing in staff, gaining buy-in to new initiatives and taking on a member of staff for the first time.
