Rural property consultants merge with Northumberland surveyors
Northern property consultancy Smiths Gore has announced it has merged with the Wooler office of independent chartered surveyors, Sale & Partners.
The two firms will operate under the Smiths Gore brand, and the Wooler office is to be managed by Michael Orde.
Smiths Gore say the move will allow them to manage larger, more complex projects by using specialist departments such as renewables and farm business management.
Michael Orde said: “This is an extremely complementary merger which enables us to build on our strong foundations in the region.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the staff and partners of Sale & Partners, and are looking forward to serving current and future clients of the combined firm in the provision of a complete range of rural property consultancy in the area.”
Richard Landale, senior partner of Sale & Partners, added: “Smiths Gore is a firm we have admired and worked closely alongside for many years, and this merger is a natural fit for the staff and partners of our Wooler office. We look forward to working with new colleagues in the merged business in North Northumberland.”
“As we share similar values, I know that not only will the merger provide seamless continuity of service to our client base, but it also has the added advantage of drawing upon the deeper resources of a national firm.”
