A duo of deals for delegates at Wynyard

One of the North East’s most prestigious conference venues has started the new year with a duo of deals for delegates.

Wynyard Hall hotel and spa, at Tees Valley, has announced two special offers for businesses wishing to hold their meetings, conferences and events in rooms that once played host to figures such as Disraeli and the Duke of Wellington.

To celebrate the New Year Wynyard is cutting its day delegate rate by almost a third from £32 per person to £24 excluding VAT, based on a minimum of 10 delegates.

Alternatively, those wishing to include an overnight stay can take advantage of the new 24 hour delegate rate of £120 excluding VAT per person.

Both offers include room hire, a two course finger buffet, projector and screen, stationery, refreshments, free car parking and wi-fi, while the 24-hour package also includes a three-course dinner in the hotel’s three AA rosette Wellington restaurant, an overnight stay and full English breakfast the following morning.

Along with a selection of opulent State Rooms within the main building, which can accommodate between five and 250 people, Wynyard Hall is surrounded by 150 acres of grounds, making it an ideal choice for outdoor team building events such as clay pigeon shooting and archery.

In addition, the lakeside Spa offers corporate visitors a wide range of treatments and facilities and provides an ideal way of rewarding staff, relaxing before or after a meeting or event, or entertaining clients.

Later this year, the hotel plans to build on its reputation as an ideal venue for corporate hospitality with the addition of a Grand Marquee, which will not only offer business and leisure guests an alternative venue for their conference or celebration but will increase the venue’s single space capacity.

The new marquee, the biggest in the North East at 1,600sqft, will be erected at the edge of the walled garden amid Wynyard’s historic parkland and within sight of the Hall itself.

Not only will it be able to accommodate up to 400 guests - making it an ideal choice for large-scale events such as weddings, conferences and exhibitions – but it will also house a dedicated kitchen and high-specification fitted washrooms.
