Free sales training boost for North East SMEs' workers
SMEs across the North East have the chance to boost their performance with the opportunity to have their staff trained in customer services skills, for free.
The scheme offers employers customer services training for their staff who are over 19 year-old and qualified up to NVQ level 2.
Experienced sales trainer Michael McMeekin aims to improve regional businesses’ profitability by tackling their customer relations and upskilling their workforces.
He said: “We want businesses to look into their existing staff and let us realise the potential in there.
“Professional training in sales and customer service can really help to motor businesses and this is the perfect opportunity for firms in the region to take advantage of funded training for their staff.”
To be undertaken in groups or one-to-one, the training is relevant across all sectors and staff types.
Revenue and profit growth underpin each session as the training will promote skills that directly impact businesses’ sales figures.
Michael added: “We all know people are wary of the term “sales” and all the negative connotations that comes with it - plenty of dubious caricature salesman in films have contributed to that. The truth is sales skills are integral to just about all roles, but few people have the confidence without training.
“These sessions will give employees the confidence to create better customer relationships, ultimately benefiting the business overall.”
