hlw Keeble Hawson kick-starts milestone funding for football league club
hlw Keeble Hawson’s Commercial Property team has played a key role in Chesterfield FC Community Trust’s community sports hub - the only one of its kind in the Football League.
The law firm has completed leases for five tenants for the hub’s dedicated office space in the new East Stand. Enlisting tenants was a condition of the first stage of funding being secured to enable work to start on the mixed use scheme which includes a sports hall, gym, café and hydrotherapy pool.
Some tenants have moved into the new offices of the venture which provides wide-ranging sporting activities to the community and champions community cohesion through sport.
John Croot, Head of Chesterfield FC Community Trust, said: “We are delighted with the value that hlw Keeble Hawson has added. The team was pro-active, enthusiastic, and instrumental in providing legal support which was critical to obtaining the grant.”
Working with clients across Yorkshire and Derbyshire, hlw Keeble Hawson prides itself on being at the heart of the region’s business and wider community.
