Record growth for Yorkshire accountancy firm leads to PR expansion
Accountancy network TaxAssist Accountants has expanded its PR brief with MCG following a record year of growth.
TaxAssist Accountants recorded 12.4% growth in the latest Accountancy Age Top 50 listings, beating the “Big 4” international groups and achieving the fifth highest growth across the whole Top 50.
With a fee income of over £30 million and almost 200 franchisees across the UK, the successful business model is now set to go international, with master franchises planned initially in Canada, then in the U.S., New Zealand and Australia.
TaxAssist has 10 offices in West Yorkshire, including at Harrogate, Horsforth, Keighley and Halifax.
James Mattam, Business Development Manager at TaxAssist Accountants said: “MCG has played a fundamental role in our ongoing growth, both in terms of supporting our network to win new business clients and helping to attract new franchisees to join us.”
“We’ve bucked the trend by offering a welcoming, straight talking approach, with accountants in shop-front offices right on the high street and MCG has given that success a voice and personality which drives right through to the bottom line.
“We’re delighted to be expanding our brief with them as we continue to grow in the UK and launch internationally.”
