New role is 'cemented' for Robert
Building and roofing specialist, Hodgson Sayers, has announced the appointment of Robert Charlton, as a Quantity Surveyor.
31-year-old Robert, from Ponteland, Newcastle brings a wealth of experience in areas such as preparing tender documents, undertaking cost analysis and allocating work to contractors to assist the company with a range of projects.
Robert, said: “My background was originally in business, having studied business and hospitality at Leeds University. I then studied for a conversion Masters in construction and quantity surveying.
“Having worked in the field for a number of years now, Hodgson Sayers appealed to me because it has a top-class reputation and has been established for 35 years.
“I have found a company that encourages me to develop my skill set whilst working alongside an experienced senior management team. It is a varied and challenging role and I am really enjoying the position.”
John Sayers, Managing Director at Hodgson Sayers, said: “Robert is a great addition to the Hodgson Sayers team. He has bedded in well and we are impressed with his determination to succeed and progress within the company.”
Established in 1979, as Hodgson & Allon, the company began primarily as a roofing contractor. Over the years it has developed and diversified considerably to include building works, fencing and metalwork fabrication.
Its ISO 9001 accredited operations are reflected in the consistently high standards of delivery, presentation and all processes.
