A luxurious win for Newcastle marketing and PR agency
Newcastle-based marketing and PR company, ramarketing, has landed an exclusive contract with luxury tableware and kitchen equipment manufacturer and supplier Goodfellow and Goodfellow.
Operating from its 8,500sq m distribution centre in Peterlee and its showroom on London’s fashionable Baker Street, Goodfellow and Goodfellow has already attracted the likes of The Ritz, the Dorchester and a string of celebrity and Michelin-starred chefs with its products.
After winning exclusive rights to several premier brands of clothing, kitchen and tableware, the business decided it was the right time to launch an order book and needed a PR push to help this and raise its profile in the Capital and the rest of the UK.
Managing director Valda Goodfellow commented: “Our business has grown organically and quite quickly since we launched last year. We spotted an opportunity at the higher end of the market, where the emphasis is on quality, innovation and customer service - these are all areas where we have a proven track record.
“We wanted an outsourced marketing and PR team to match our ethos and work ethic and ramarketing definitely fitted the bill. The team has been fantastic to work with this far.
“We have so many things on at the moment and many more projects in the pipeline so we needed to a professional and competent company to take the marketing and PR out of our hands to help us focus on our products and the book.”
Owner of ramarketing, Raman Sehgal said: “We are delighted with this particular win, we love to work with local, growing companies and the fact that they have performed exceptionally well in these economic times is a testament to the quality of their products and services.
“It’s a really exciting time for Goodfellow and Goodfellow and indeed ramarketing so we couldn’t be happier. We see this as a long-term relationship with a fantastic, potentially global brand.”
Founded in 2009 by Raman Sehgal, ramarketing operates across many sectors including technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, finance and leisure.
The region’s current CIPR Outstanding Small Consultancy recently celebrated its fourth birthday in style by winning the title for the second year running along side a further two awards in the 2014 CIPR North East PRide Awards including gold for integrated campaign and silver for healthcare campaign.
Based in Charlotte Square, Newcastle, the agency provides a range of services including PR, search engine optimisation, design and social media. Its client portfolio includes SCM Pharma, AYO Digital, Car Flash, Keiro Group, Dolphin Stairlifts and Coast & Country.
