Arley Homes positive on year ahead
Warrington-based Arley Homes says it is looking forward to a prosperous 2014 after completing a number of projects in the run up to December.
Sales at the developer’s Chorley, Duxbury Manor site have been growing steadily which has facilitated final stage works on 29 detached family homes.
This month the firm is due to start work on Tottington Grange development which is expected to gross £4 million for Arley.
The company has also recently exchanged contracts on a further two sites at Wigan Road, Clayton-le-Woods, where planning permission for 14 five-bedroom detached homes, all with double garages, has been granted; and Woodfield Road, Altrincham, where consent for four detached and four semi-detached homes has been secured.
Jim Bowers, sales director at Arley, said: “The company, which restructured its Board earlier this year, has funding facilities available for its developments at Tottington Grange and Duxbury Manor phase four, to commence in January 2014.
“Confidence has returned to the housing market and with our exceptionally designed and professionally built properties in popular locations, we’re seeing increased demand across all of our developments. This increased confidence, coupled with the uptake in the Government’s Help To Buy scheme, has meant that properties are being snapped up at a considerable rate and across a wide price range.
“In the latter half of 2013 we’ve demonstrated a robust development pipeline, which will extend into 2014 with the start of works at our Bury scheme. We couldn’t wish for a better way to start the New Year.”
