Leeds’ Search Laboratory aids Belfast firm ahead of crowdfunding campaign
Belfast-based Jyrobike, has appointed Leeds’ Search Laboratory to manage its social media ahead of a £100k Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
Jyrobike are a manufacturer and designer of auto-balance bicycles.
The British company, based in Belfast, appointed Search Laboratory, who will also manage the company’s global SEO, following a competitive tender submission.
The Leeds-based search marketing agency has been briefed to oversee the SEO for Jyrobike’s rebrand including new name (originally known as Gyrobike), new brand vision, new website and the brand’s social media.
Jyrobike’s patented gyroscopic technology and other design innovations make it the only company on the global market to develop auto-balance bikes.
The company will be using crowd funding platform ‘Kickstarter’ launching May 13 2014 - 15 June (33 Day Campaign) to attempt to raise $175,000.
The Kickstarter campaign will allow customers the opportunity to be the first to own a Jyrobike as well as allow investors of all sizes to get involved.
Search Laboratory has been tasked with increasing the online profile of the brand both pre and during the Kickstarter campaign via online PR, technical SEO and social media, adhering to the brand’s values of people, invention and freedom.
