Global recognition for Yorkshire lawyer’s work supporting businesses
A Leeds lawyer who works with businesses to find solutions to their problems has won a prestigious global award.
Rashmi Dubé, the founder of Legatus Law, has been named the ‘Business Turnaround Lawyer of the Year in England’ in the 2014 Corporate Intl Magazine Global Awards.
The Awards celebrate those who have been successful over the past 12 months and who have shown excellence not only in expertise but in service. They are judged by independent experts and advisers from across the world.
Rashmi founded Legatus Law in 2013 after a 20-year career working which has seen her work for leading UK law firms and supporting businesses in resolving disputes, tightening their trading terms and contracts, recovering debt and working to protect their assets.
Commenting on the award, Rashmi said: “I am delighted to have been awarded this prestigious title which recognises the time and effort I put in to supporting businesses who run into trouble find solutions to their problems.
“During the challenging economic times we are facing there is a real need for legal support tailored to the specific needs of small and medium sized businesses.
“I am passionate about providing solutions that allow the firms that are the engine room of our economy to develop and grow.”
