Discount prices for TyneMet College hair and beauty students

Hair and Beauty students at TyneMet College were delighted to receive a visit at the end of term from Sally Salon Services who brought with them an amazing range of hair and beauty products, for students to buy at discount prices.

The students were able to purchase the products VAT free and for trade prices.

Duncan Chandler, Store Manager of Newcastle Invincible Salon Services (the wholesale arm of Sally Salon Services), said:

“It was a pleasure to come to TyneMet to meet with the students and offer them hair and beauty products at wholesale prices. Some of the products the students purchased were essential resources for their course; however I did bring with me gift ideas which the students bought as last minute Christmas presents for friends and family.”

Joanne Hewison, Head of Service and Business Enterprises, TyneMet College, said:

“Sally Salon Services has been one of TyneMet’s beauty and hair product suppliers for 11 years now and we have established a very good working relationship.

“Sally Salon Services also deliver seminars to our students; the last seminar ‘Art of Retail’. was delivered to Level 3 Hair and Beauty students by Duncan who has also recently accepted our invitation to become a TyneMet Business Ambassador which means that we will be looking at working together more closely in the future.

“Working with innovative organisations such as Sally Salon Services, who also sponsor the Hairdressing Student of the Year and Beauty Student of the Year categories at our Annual Awards Ceremony in July, helps TyneMet to stay current and up to date with new products that come on to the market which we can then introduce to our students.”
