Yorkshire office furniture wholesaler expands after warehouse purchase
A Yorkshire-based office furniture wholesaler has purchased another warehouse as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
Office Interiors Wholesale Ltd in Keighley has acquired an additional 45,000 sq ft premises thanks to a £1.7 million commercial mortgage from NatWest.
The company, which was formed back in 1983 by current managing director Mike Wloch, design and manufacture a comprehensive range of contract office furniture in a factory it owns 33% of in the Far East and then distributes it to dealers throughout the whole of the UK.
Working with senior relationship manager Julian Nutchey, Office Interiors Wholesale bought the warehouse located in the Airedale Business Park after obtaining a commercial mortgage of £1.7 million as part of the bank’s participation with the Government’s Funding for Lending Scheme.
The firm moved into the new facility earlier this month.
Mike Wloch said the new warehouse will meet the demands of the growing business.
Office Interiors Wholesale currently employs 19 people and Mike said they are looking to increase their workforce in the future. He also praised the support he was given by Julian throughout the process.
Mike said: “It’s a large modern warehouse and we plan to continue to grow business at a sustainable rate. Julian was fantastic. We had a great partnership throughout the process and worked very well together. He invested his time in understanding our business plan and our goals.”
Julian said: “We are delighted to have supported Mike and Office Interiors and see the project come to fruition. The new premises will be a substantial benefit to the business and its future growth.”
