Architecture & interior design practice DV8 Designs appointed by New Moon Pub Company for new venture

One of Cheshire’s most renowned pub companies has appointed leading architecture and interior design practice DV8 Designs to help to create their latest venture.

The New Moon Pub Company, which will be launching its fifth property Beef & Pudding later this year, has enlisted managing director of DV8 Designs Lee Birchall to conduct the renovation, as a result of his varied and successful portfolio.

Lee and his team, whose offices are based in Warrington, will completely transform the interior of the Manchester gastro-pub, as well as incorporating more modernistic elements such as installing a state-of-the-art kitchen, in hopes of provoking a larger cash investment.

He said: “Our current objective is to conduct a major revamp of the property to create a contemporary urban pub and kitchen. We will produce ultra-modern décorswith a roughed-up edge, in addition to adding a vast array of interesting decorative elements to accentuate the architectural design.

“I am delighted to have been chosen to work alongside the prestigious New Moon Pub Company and to be involved in the restoration of the Beef & Pudding. I hope that this will be the start of an on-going relationship, whereby many future projects will go ahead.”

Formerly The Crown on Booth Street, Beef & Pudding is set to provide the perfect platform to showcase the award winning offering of Chef Patron and Co-Owner of the New Moon Pub Company, David Mooney.

Business partner Paul Newman said: “Lee instantly got the theme and feel that we were looking for with this new venue and his ideas have helped to take our vision to the next level. His drive and passion for the scheme is undoutable and we look forward to seeing the end result.”

DV8 Designs, which was established in 2006, has attained high acclaim through their impressive and diverse portfolio that includes residential, bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, swimming pools, spas, golf clubs & offices.

The renovation of Beef and Pudding is scheduled for completion by this Spring.
