Sale of prestigious Harrogate former reservoir site completes

A new luxury residential development proposed in Harrogate has moved a step closer after the sale of the former Ironbridge reservoir site completed.

Linden Homes North plan to to build 30 luxury family homes and 20 apartments on the 10 acre site, which adjoins the prestigious Duchy area to the north of Harrogate town centre.

They have outline planning consent for a residential development for the site.

Linden have completed the purchase of the site, on Cornwall Road, from Keyland Developments, facilitated by agents DTZ and Sanderson Weatherall.

DTZ director Phil Roebuck said: “This is a magnificent development site which offers the opportunity to create a high quality natural extension to the Duchy Estate.”

Peter Garrett, managing director of Keyland Developments said: “We have worked long and hard with the Council and Duchy residents to ensure an appropriate reuse of this excellent redundant brownfield site and are delighted with the outcome”.

Ian Hessay, managing director of Linden Homes North added: “We are excited at the prospect of delivering some very special homes in this exceptional location.”
