Successful launch at Easingwold housing development
A Yorkshire house builder is celebrating after selling nearly 20 per cent of its new homes in Easingwold in the first week of opening.
Persimmon Homes released its first properties to buy off-plan at the beginning of January and has been overwhelmed by the response.
Work began at The Vale development, off York Road, towards the end of 2013 and instantly generated high volumes of interest.
Kevin Thubron, sales director at Persimmon Homes Yorkshire is delighted with The Vale’s immediate success.
He said: “We were aware that the picturesque market town of Easingwoold would be a popular destination for home owners but we have been thrilled with how quickly the homes are being snapped up – before a single brick has been laid.
“The Vale features a small cluster of 22 three and four bedroom homes and is within walking distance of the town which offers many unique independent shops and restaurants and has a warm community feel.
“Having sold four properties in the first week, we expect demand to continue to be extremely high and feel this success confirms that we are building the right homes in the right place for the right price,” concluded Kevin.
Just 23 miles from the historical centre of York, The Vale is set to offer first time buyers, growing families and retired couples a sense of luxury in a location that is not only tranquil and picturesque, but also has excellent access to the main commuter roads and rail networks.
