The firm has appointed Neil Homer as Service Desk Manager, Anito Lauriello as Head of Infrastructure and David Rawlinson as Head of Software Development. The fast-growing business has also promoted Alex Ashton internally to the role of Marketing Manager.

The appointments follow a period of sustained growth for the business, which has seen turnover grow from £3.5 million in 2012 to circa £6 million in 2014.

David Rawlinson joins the business from McNicholas Construction where he spent 6 years as IT Director – prior to that he spent 3 years as Director of IT Services for Alfred McAlpine. David also brings over 15 years’ experience in the fast-paced retail sector, during which he filled a variety of IT leadership roles within the Littlewoods Retail Group.

As adept4’s Head of Software Development, David will employ his extensive range of skills and experience to further refine the company’s software development and support practices. He will also enhance and extend adept4’s offerings and ensure a firm foundation is in place to enable our next.

Anito Lauriello has over 25 years’ experience working in IT and technology, for organisations including Compaq, HP, Dell, and NetApp & Star Technology Services. His expertise lies in assisting organisations to transform their technical and operational functions and helping them to drive profitable growth.

In his new role as Head of Infrastructure, Anito will oversee adept4’s professional services, project management and data centre operations. He will also help to provide structure and guidance to the infrastructure team and ensure that the business continues to provide high quality solutions and customer service.

adept4 CEO, Peter Birkett, said: “We’re delighted to be adding such a talented, experienced and ambitious raft of staff to our management team. These appointments are part of a strategic focus on the wider growth and expansion of the business and will help the company to continue to move forward and target new markets, without sacrificing on quality of service or delivery.

“David and Anito, our new department heads, bring a real depth of industry experience and knowledge. They will no doubt play an invaluable role in supporting our project teams and ensuring the necessary structure for future growth and development of the business – enabling us to continue to expand without compromising on efficiency, capability or quality.”

Neil Homer, who has over 16 years’ experience in the software and technology industry, will be focussing on developing and executing restructuring plans to improve efficiency within the business. Neil will also be tasked with driving quality into processes and technology to ensure optimum customer experience.

Alex Ashton joined adept4 in February 2012 as Marketing Co-ordinator and has now taken on the role of Marketing Manager. In her new role, she will oversee the businesses’ central marketing function – helping to drive growth and ensure consistent messaging both on and offline.
