Blind Date contestant turned dating entrepreneur to speak on Tyneside
The CEO of a global dating firm listed on the London Stock Exchange will share his experiences with businesspeople at a talk on Tyneside.
Phil Gripton, who has appeared on the TV show Blind Date and is originally from Tyneside, will share his experiences on running the internationally successful firm which has undertaken a number small of acquisitions.
The valentines themed ‘Art of Seductionevent’ event is being held at North Tyneside Business Centre in North Shields on Thursday February 13.
Phil’s session will focus on sales, drawing upon his 20 years experience in senior leadership roles with technology businesses including Cable & Wireless, Energis, Parametric Technology Corporation and ICL.
He said: “Running your own business requires you to have a vision of what you are hoping to achieve but it can be a difficult balancing act between this and ensuring that you have the right solution in place to achieve success.
“Hearing about other people’s experiences can be extremely inspirational for a business owner and we hope that this informative workshop will allow attendees to learn more about some of the successful sales strategies and real life practical experiences that could help them shape their own plans moving forward.
Joining Phil Gripton is presentation and business development specialist Dan Bond who will deliver a session on “special business powers” and take the audience through all aspects of the sales process to motivate and spur them on to achieve further success.
