Manchester oil and gas firm wins lucrative Statoil contract
A Manchester headquartered workforce solutions provider to the oil and gas industry has signed a lucrative contract with international operator, Statoil.
Air Energi has been awarded the multi-year contract to supply administrative and technical consultants internationally.
Air Energi Norway AS, part of the Air Energi group, will fulfil the contract for Statoil, who have recently commissioned several large investment projects. The need for project personnel on engineering and construction sites globally will therefore increase significantly.
As a supplier of expertise to the global energy industry, Air Energi will be providing Statoil with a comprehensive suite of technical manpower services.
Espen Hove, country manager - Norway for Air Energi, said: “This contract award proves the value of combining global strengths and local knowledge. It is a major win for Air Energi Norway AS and Air Energi Group, and is a huge step in the right direction to establish Air Energi as the preferred partner for the Norwegian oil and gas industry.”
Statoil are based in Stavanger, Norway and operates in 34 countries and is recognised as a leading integrated oil and gas operator on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
With more than 30 years’ experience, Air Energi provides contract, project and permanent hire personnel and expertise to oil and gas projects and clients worldwide.
